TUBER GUARANTEE: Thank you for supporting our small farm! Your happiness is important to us! We guarantee your dahlia tubers will be true to ID and arrive in the mail with at least one eye, and a healthy tuber body. Please inspect your tubers upon arrival and contact us at microflowerfarm@gmail.com within 7 days of your order arriving if you have any concerns. Once the 7 days have passed, you accept full responsibility for your tubers. Please understand we are not responsible for damage due to bad weather, pests, poor field conditions, negligence, or plant performance.
VIRUS POLICIES: Our Tubers and Fields are inspected and approved by the Washington Department of Agriculture. I aggressively cull my field of any suspicious plants during the growing season, randomly test, sanitize between plants and use several organic methods to keep pests controlled. That being said, by purchasing you accept the fact that dahlias sometimes get sick, just like any other plant, and virus is not 100% avoidable.
DAHLIA TUBER SHIPPING: All orders are shipped using USPS flat rate priority mail. Unfortunately we can only ship within the USA and we cannot combine shipping. Tubers will ship in April once freezing temperatures are past in your region.
CART: Your order is only confirmed once you checkout and receive an order confirmation number and email.
LIMITS: We are limiting certain varieties to ensure more people can grow some of the rarer dahlias! This means a limit PER household, not per person. If we suspect that you are using family members, friends or other means to get around this limit, all your orders will be subject to cancellation and a full refund.
SUBSTITUTIONS: We do not offer substitutions due to stock loss. If something unexpected happens with storage between your order and shipping, we will refund you the price of the tuber(s).
CANCELLATIONS: Once an order is placed it is final. We do not accept cancellations or changes to an order after it is placed. However, because we are a farm that is selling a perishable product, we reserve the right, at our own discretion, to cancel and fully refund any order, during our quality checks as we ship out our products.
Varieties that carry Trademarks: We carry certain varieties that have a trademark attached to the name. As a grower this means that we have signed a license agreement where we remit a % of every sale of those varieties back to the hybridizer to compensate them for the years of work they did in creating these gorgeous varieties. What does this mean for you as a customer?
If you grow as a hobby, a gardener and trade or give away your extra tubers or cuttings or sell cut flowers, nothing has changed for you. Keep doing whatever you’ve been doing.
If you want to sell the tubers and/or cuttings of varieties that carry a trademark, you will need a license from the hybridizer that is easy to apply for, no matter how few or many you want to grow. We have found that there is some online misinformation about the trademarks and we encourage everyone interested to read the actual information directly at the hybridizer’s website which you can find here. If you have specific questions for me, I’m happy to answer them through email at microflowerfarm@gmail.com
